About

From Nairobi, Kenya. Looking at life through a lens.

Some people see life with words. Others through experience. I see life like a movie, moving from one scene to the next. I feel like my plot is yet to be written. I have to capture experiences through my camera and record them as I navigate through life. I’m still waiting to write my screenplay, but as I search for the best plot, I continue to account narratives through different mediums: video, photo, and audio.

I have 8+ years of experience in journalism, digital marketing and strategy, communications, and branding. I have produced a wide-range of investigative documentaries from the Long Island fishing industry, to the refugee crisis in Italy, to the mothers of drug-labor in northern Kenya. In 2020, I launched my own start-up: Studio 63 Productions where I led my team to provide content production, digital marketing strategy, corporate branding and brand management for our various clients. I also challenged my team with creative direction to produce riveting content that challenged the status-quo.
